Commission established in 1953 and it based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. APPSC was formed by merging of two “Andhra and Hyderabad” Andhra and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions in 1956. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) established on November 1, 1956. It was before the known as Andhra Service commission.
